Espresso

Derby City Espresso uses a 4-group La Marzocco Linea espresso machine in conjunction with HobbKnobb Roaster’s MeGuKe espresso blend (a sublime blend of Mexican, Guatemalan & Kenyan coffee beans) for all of our drinks.

All of our drinks come as either singles or doubles. This refers to the amount of espresso that goes into each drink not the overall size of the drink. Our singles use approximately 14 grams of espresso and our doubles use approximately 21 grams of espresso.

Espresso – the classic shot of strong coffee $2/$3

Americano - our espresso shot diluted with water $2/$3

Cubano – a sweetened shot of espresso made by putting sugar directly in the portafilter $2/$3

Con Pana – espresso topped with a dollop of whipped cream $2.75/$3.75

Macciato – a shot of espresso topped with milk foam $2.75/$3.75

Mocha Sludge – a shot of espresso and a shot of chocolate syrup $2.75/$3.75

Cappuccino – one shot of espresso plus one part steamed milk plus one part milk foam – $2.75/$3.75

Viennese – a cappuccino topped with whipped cream and coco powder $3.50/$4.50

Breve – a cappuccino made with half and half instead of milk $3.50/$4.50

Caramelo - a cappuccino made with a short of caramel $3.50/$4.50

Affogato – a shot of espresso poured over a scoop of either vanilla or chocolate ice cream $3.50/$4.50

Latte – espresso shot mixed with a glass of steamed milk $3.50/$4.50

Honey Latte – espresso poured over honey with added steamed milk $4/$5

Cafe Creme  - a latte made with half and half instead of milk $4/$5

Mocha Latte – a latte made with added chocolate syrup $4/$5

White Mocha – a mocha made with white chocolate $4/$5

Flavored Latte – a latte made with any of our flavored syrups $4/$5

Raspberry Mocha – a mocha with an added shot of raspberry syrup $4.50/$5.50

Milky Way – espresso, milk, chocolate syrup and caramel $4.50/$5.50

Dirty Chai – espresso and chai tea latte mixed together for an added punch $4.50/$5.50

Frozen Latte – vanilla ice cream, half and half, ice and espresso blended together $4.50/$5.50

Frozen Mocha – chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, half and half and espresso blended together $4.75/$5.75
